Cincinnati Photographer and Hall-of-Fame journalist Melvin Grier’s stunning images of Over-the-Rhine have been assembled on a uniquely designed poster. Order yours today.

Melvin Grier, a former Cincinnati Post staff photographer for more than thirty years, has collected numerous awards from the Society for Professional Journalists, Associated Press Society of Ohio, the Press Club of Cleveland, the Ohio News Photographer Association, United Press International and Cincinnati Magazine.

His work has appeared in dozens of exhibits including “A Joyful Noise”, a collection of photographs related to music and dance on display at the Cathedral Basilica Gallery in Covington, Kentucky. His images have been on display several times at the Arts Consortium of Cincinnati including a one-man show entitled “Souls In Bondage: Essays of East Africa.”

He was named the 2004 Robert Duncanson Artist In Residence at the Taft Museum in Cincinnati OH. An exhibit, 15/retro 15/active was featured in the Dater Education room during the month of November.

Melvin Grier's Over-The-Rhine posters, designed by artist Ryan Ostrander, are full-color, 18" by 24" and showcase nine images taken by the award-winning photojournalist in Cincinnati's most historic community.
